Free Seminar: Making the Move

If you’re thinking about making the move to a senior living community, now might be a great time to do so. An improving economy and low interest rates for buyers have seen home sales in many markets to jump to their highest in the past four years.

If the thought of selling your home and downsizing for a smaller next residence stresses you out, please join us for a free seminar at one of our communities. We’ll show you how to:

  • Take advantage of the improving local real estate market
  • Prepare and stage your home to sell quickly and at a fair price
  • Effectively plan what goes where in your new home
  • Choose what to keep … and what not
  • Manage the move process without a lot of unnecessary stress

We’ll also introduce you to be.free, a home sale and moving assistance program that helps you achieve all this and more.

You can check out the schedule of upcoming seminars here. Reserve your spot now as seating is limited.…

White Sands hosts visitors from St. Vincent de Paul Village

White Sands La Jolla had the great pleasure of hosting several young guests for a special day on Dec. 16. Twenty children ages 2 to 4 visited with residents and staff as part of the community’s support for St. Vincent de Paul Village, which helps homeless children prepare for school and aids their families in improving their lives.

The kids were treated to a special lunch and enjoyed a holiday performance by Mickey and Minnie Mouse—as well as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, too. The day ended with an early visit from Santa Claus, who came with huge bags of gifts for each child.
