Here’s your early invitation to Sunset, Wine & Jazz, a benefit concert we’ll be hosting at Redwood Town Court to support the many critical programs and services provided through Redwood Elderlink. Mark your calendar for Sunday, Sept. 18, 4–8 p.m. Tickets are $50.

We’re promising great food, fine wines, and the spectacular smooth jazz of the ever-popular Monsoon, featuring band leader and trombonist Dave Scott. Dave is also the local meteorologist and feature reporter on KUSI-TV, so we know we’re guaranteed good weather.

We’ll also be holding opportunity drawings for a host of prizes, including a mini wine cellar with a wine fridge and more than $1,500 worth of premium wines. Others prizes include sky sailing for two in Temecula, passes for the Grapeline Wine Country Shuttle, more passes to Disneyland, local attractions and various popular Escondido area restaurants, and much more. Drawing tickets are only $5 or six for $25.

Redwood Elderlink has been serving seniors throughout North San Diego County for nearly 20 years, offering adult day care, in-home care, Out & About transportation services and other programs. Your support this year is all the more critical as the state prepares significant budget cuts in the funding of Adult Day Health Care Centers throughout California, including Elderlink.
